In the early 1980's, Don Favelle, a Heavy Duty Machine Operator in British Columbia wanted a better oil for the final drive in his Cat.  He set out to develop an oil that would increase lubrication and better coat the gears.  He enlisted the services of Dr. John Howard of BC Research in Vancouver, Canada and together they formulated New Start.  Dr. Howard stated that it was the best lubricant he had ever seen.

New Start proved to be the Ultimate Lubricant.  With the improved viscosity and its' amazing climbing power New Start rises to every challenge.  It climbs to the highest points in gearboxes ensuring total lubrication of the gears.  It adheres to them at shutdown, eliminating metal on metal contact at start-up.   Moreover, New Start maintains these properties long after competitors break down.  New Start will promote longer life and decrease break downs in all your equipment.
